Samoylovich and panel of multifamily industry innovators explore rental housing residents’ shifting expectations around technology, amenities, and service





Rental housing thought leaders and innovators will gather in San Diego, California this month for the National Apartment Association’s annual Apartmentalize conference and expo, taking place June 22 – 24, 2022 at the San Diego Convention Center. The event will feature keynoters such as basketball legend and entrepreneur Earvin “Magic” Johnson, racecar legend and author Danica Patrick, and actress Nicole Kidman. The conference is expected to draw 8,000 multifamily professionals from across the nation and includes an exhibit hall featuring hundreds of suppliers and service providers.


Livly’s Founder and Co-CEO Alex Samoylovich will moderate an education session titled “Shifting Dynamics in Resident Expectations, Connectivity and Technology.” The panel presentation will feature multifamily experts Helen Garrahy, Senior VP of Portfolio Management with Heitman; Dana Hill, Senior Director of Engagement at RangeWater Real Estate; and Mark Zikra, Head of Innovation at August Hill.


The presenters will explore the significant disruptions facing the multifamily housing industry, including rapid digital innovation, new technologies, and shifting resident expectations. Attendees can look forward to a lively discussion of the current trends in resident services and amenities across multiple property types. Panelists will provide a forecast into the future of resident expectations and discuss how innovations in proptech can meet resident desires and demands in the short and long term. Speakers will share their real-world experiences and discuss the impact on leasing velocity and resident retention.
